Whole Earth Calculator app for iPhone and iPad

The Rock and Wrap It Up! Whole Earth Calculator enables organizations that are donating excess food to charitable groups the ability to easily convert pounds of food donated into meals that will be served and carbon footprint reduced by the donation. The app, which also includes composting and paper and plastics recycling calculations, is free to use. Also in the app is a donation form, which enables Rock and Wrap It Up! to assist you by collating recovery data.

Founded in 1991, Rock and Wrap It Up! is an anti-poverty, anti-hunger think tank that supports over 400 agencies in North America by providing food and other resources to those in need. Their Mardi Bra project helps to collect feminine hygiene products and deliver them to women who cant afford to purchase them.

Rock and Wrap It Up! was identified by the White House in 2014 as an example of the tools and services that support the administrations Climate Change Initiative. RWU founder Syd Mandelbaum was honored in 1999 by the Clinton administration with a Point of Light award. They helped author the nations Food Recovery Act in 2009, passed unanimously by both houses of Congress.
